Kokanees are biting Water clarity:3-8 feet
If you are out early in the morning you will find them a little closer to the surface, 15-25 feet down,as the day warms up, you want to look for them as deep at 40- 50 feet. Hoochies, spoons, spinners, productive in the main area of the lake and up the Molkolumne river arm.
The kokanee salmon are starting to hit at Lake Pardee, ans should peak in the next month or two. But evem now, trollers are catching limits 12 to 14 inches.
Fishing for trout has been good. They are starting to go in more comfortable depths.Boaters want to try the mouth of the river or motor to the river arm. Bank fishermen go to topography off Stony Creek Landing, Blue Heron Point,and Woodpile.
Big channel catfish are on the bite. Head to the spillway and Blue Heron area with anchovies or worms.
